Meant to discover and promote the young talents of the classical music, the George Enescu International Competition will take place between August 29 and September 22 of 2020 in Bucharest, Romania. The competition is organized under the High Patronage of the President of Romania and produced by the Romanian Government through the Ministry of Culture and National Identity. It is a competition for classical violinists, cellists, pianists, and composers, with the first-place winner of each category to receive 15,000 Euro.
